FAIRGROUNDS FAMILY FEST
Fairgrounds Elementary School hosted an information fair reinforcing their motto, ‘Many Families, One Community.’ CCFP&A was represented by Mary Thomas. She handed out information about our programs and services and answered many questions .The attendees were pleased to hear about the personal approach with the grocery list and the other services we offer.
GARDEN IMPROVEMENTS
Thanks to parishioners from St. Stanislaus, Maria Hey and her daughter, Ruth, the Holy Family garden is seeing improvements. The Knights of Columbus from St. Stanislaus cleaned up the garden last fall. Maria and Ruth recently a fence around the garden. They plan to spread bark mulch and have flowers blooming there soon. Thanks to all the volunteers who are helping to make the garden special.
Corpus Christi Assistance is continuing to collect fans for our clients. The summer is starting to heat up and many of our clients live in downtown apartments with no air conditioning or fans to help cool their homes. Please consider donating a new or gently used fan.
